"The World's Youngest Drummer!"®
Playing the drums
while sitting atop his father's lap since the age of three
months, this rhythmic child began keeping a steady beat
in his mother's womb! Just 4-years old, he has graduated
from the high chair and no longer stands to play the bass
and high hat pedals. He sits on a miniature stool and plays
an 11-piece custom drum set with 11 cymbals and a double
kick. He plays rock, funk, fusion and jazz beats with his
Vic Firth Signature Series sticks on Innovation Drums and
Sabian Cymbals – all three companies having given
him full artist endorsements! He also prefers Remo drum
skins. His favorite bands to rock to include The Beatles,
Led Zeppelin, The Who, Chicago, TOTO, Rush, Earth, Wind
and Fire, Journey, Commodores, Parliament, Stephanie K
and The Detroit Katz, Barry White, and Santana.
Many consider
Julian to be the “Tiger Woods of the
Music Industry”. He was offered a contract to be
a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Drumline at
age 15 months (making him the youngest member by 16 years!).
Then, at 20 months, Julian recorded a CD, “Go Baby!”,
with legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong. Trapper Jack,
from Cleveland’s radio station, WDOK 102.1, broke
the story and Julian has been shocking audiences ever
since.
He has appeared on
29 TV shows, including “The Oprah
Winfrey Show”, “Good Morning America”, “Martha
Stewart”, “Inside Edition”, “MSNBC”, “WGN”, “FOX
News Dayside”, “WKYC’s Good Company”,
and in July 2008 he will appear on Japan’s #1 television
show, “Amazing Stories”. He has also starred
in a television show pilot, “Finding Julian’s
Band” and had a Korean documentary produced by
Seoul Broadcasting Systems aired about him.
He has performed
live on numerous radio stations around
the world, for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland
Indians, at VIP parties for the Chicago Cubs and Detroit
Tigers’ season
home openers, at the House of Blues, at the Cleveland
Grand Prix opening ceremonies, at the largest classic car
show
in the world, and at the NBA semi-finals for the Detroit
Pistons.
He has inspired a
series of children’s books, led
to the formation of Harmonie Network (a national entertainment
and music company), launched his own clothing line, invented “Abracadabra” Stain
Cover-up, was featured in “Ripley’s Believe
it or Not! The Remarkable…Revealed”, was
honored at the Hard Rock Cleveland with “The 2007 Rock
and Roll Lifetime Achievement Award”, was recognized
by Senator John Pappageorge, and received worldwide media
coverage with over 6,000 newspaper and magazine articles
written about him.
He is currently working
on his second CD with 4 time-Grammy Award winning producer,
Michael
J. Powell and just finished
his first year of prekindergarten. All of this accomplished
by his fourth birthday!
